Players code of conduct
- Play by the rules - the rules of our Club and laws of the game.
- Never argue with an Umpire or other Official - without these people you cannot play football.
- Control your temper - verbal abuse of Officials and other Players is not permitted and doesn't help you enjoy or win games.
- Co-operate with your Coach, the Umpires and Team Mates.
- Be a Team Player. Treat all players fairly as you would like to be treated.
- Don't use ugly remarks based on race, religion, gender or ability.
- Play for your enjoyment and improve your skills.
Parents, supporters and officials code of conduct
- Remember that you are there for the participants to enjoy the game.
- Encourage participation but don't force it.
- Teach that enjoyment is just as important as winning if not more so.
- Never ridicule mistakes or losses. Always show support.
- Lead by example and show respect to all Players, Coaches, Umpires and Spectators. Physical or Verbal Abuse will not be tolerated.
- •Recognise all Volunteers who are giving up their valuable time.
- Never publicly criticise Umpires.

Kew Rovers Privacy Statement
The Kew Rovers Football Club share your concern over Privacy. All personal information we obtain will be treated with discretion and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We use Personal Information collected from you to perform our obligations as a football club. We may also use such information collected to promote the club and to seek sponsorship.
You acknowledge that we may disclose information to other parties including The Yarra Valley Football League, other football bodies, government and statutory authorities, members of the committee and any other duly appointed stake holders of the football club such as team managers, liason officers & coaches, insurance agents, the media, the internet and 3rd party clerics who may manage our data base or computer software on our behalf.
We will only disclose information to other parties as is required to perform our duties and for the purposes specified above or as otherwise allowed under the Privacy Act 1988. Unless you specifically advise us that certain information is confidential you authorise us to make such disclosures as are reasonably necessary or incidental to performing our duties as a football club and in accordance with our Privacy Policy Statement.
The information we receive remains the property of The Kew Rovers Football Club. Under no circumstances is this information to be used by any other 3rd party other than those parties already mentioned without the express permission of the football club. The en mass email communication of information, material or personal views of a detrimental or defammatory nature (“spam mail”) to other members will not be tolerated under any circumstance without the express permission of the football club or it’s duly appointed stake holders.
If you would like to access this information, at any time, you can do so by contacting The Secretary at the address and contact numbers specified on our web site. Our Secretary will also correct any information upon advice from you if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out-of-date.
The Yarra Valley Football League requires certain information to be collected. If the information is not provided, we may not be able to act effectively on your behalf or at all.
